Lending Tools
ToolDB makes it easy to track tools you’ve lent out so nothing gets forgotten.
Lending a Tool
Section titled “Lending a Tool”Open the tool’s detail page and tap Lend Tool. Enter the person’s name and tap Lend. The tool is marked as lent with today’s date.
The tool now shows a yellow “Lent to [name]” badge on the detail page and in your tools list.
Getting Your Tool Back
Section titled “Getting Your Tool Back”When the tool is returned, open the tool’s detail page and tap Mark Returned. The lending status is cleared in one tap.
Finding Lent Tools
Section titled “Finding Lent Tools”On the main Tools page, tap the Lent Out filter to see all tools currently lent to someone.
Lending Summary
Section titled “Lending Summary”Your Analytics dashboard shows a Lending Summary section with:
- Total tools and batteries currently lent out
- Who has what
- How many days each item has been out (items out over 30 days are highlighted)
