Setting a Location
Section titled “Setting a Location”When adding or editing a tool, type a location in the Location field. This is a free-text field — use whatever naming makes sense for your setup:

Filtering by Location
Section titled “Filtering by Location”On the Tools page, use the Location dropdown to show only tools in a specific location. This is useful when you want to see everything in one place — like inventorying a specific toolbox or vehicle.
- Be consistent with naming — “Garage” and “garage” are treated as separate locations
- Keep location names short so they display well on mobile
- When a tool moves, update its location in the edit form so your inventory stays accurate
